Sandra Clark

Obituary of Sandra Jean Clark

We are saddened by the passing of Sandra Jean Clark, peacefully surrounded by her family at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, age 61 years of Charlottetown.

Loving mother of Theresa Quinn, Amy Mallett (Colleen Clarke), Andrew Quinn (Kaylah Knockwood) and Ashley Quinn. Dear sister of Kenneth and Patty MacLean (Jeff).  Cherished grandmother of Owen and Brooke; Bella, Lily, Maverick, Kacie Mae; Lucas and Tennyson. Special aunt to Tyson, Travis, Jessica, Madison, Lesley and Sydney. Sandra will be missed by her special cousins Allan Clark, Brenda Bruce and Georgie Clark. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth Sr. and Mary (Alyward) Clark, brother Michael and nephew Quenten.

Sandra certainly always had a zest for life, her presence would always be known for her gentleness with others and her ability to engage conversations with kindness. Her laughter would be heard across the room from afar, she enjoyed being told a joke, and having the quick wit to respond with humour at any given time. She loved all who she interacted with being family, friends or colleagues. She looked forward to working each day at Missions Thrift store. Sandra had a passion for outdoor activities, swimming, fishing, camping, animals, cooking and baking. She also enjoyed Sunday services and reading the bible and would never shy away from a prayer or spiritual conversion.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held Monday from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held from Community Baptist Church on Tuesday at 11 am.

Interment will take place at Sherwood Cemetery, Charlottetown. Memorial donations may be made online to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.

Special thanks to Dr Stott, Dr. Hennessy, Dr. Whitlock and Dr. Lecours and to the nurses and staff at QEH Hospital and Provincial Palliative Care Centre; to her coworkers at Mission Thrift Store, she adored all those she worked with because it felt like family; to her brothers and sisters in Christ at the Community Baptist Church.
