We are sad to hear of Joe's passing. My mother would often quote some of Joe's facts. For example "Chicken on the bone always tastes better !" .His other observations could be more profound but equally solid in reasoning. Joe would always have a reason to drop over and provide ice cream money to all the nieces, nephews. I loved chatting with Joe as i'm sure everyone who knew Joe will miss that beautiful human. Our sympathies to the family

While I did not know Joe, personally, I did know Eileen. She was one of us regulars at Value Village. I did know of Joe's many health struggles and understood your many worries for his health, safety and comfort levels. You should feel very proud of yourself, Eileen, in how long you were able to keep him at home and be at his side 24/7. You have been a very devoted wife, always putting his needs first, even after he went into community care. May you hear many wonderful stories shared from others that can only add to your cherished memories. Hugs.

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I worked with Joe at the courthouse in Charlottetown for years and always appreciated how you could always depend on Joe to do the right thing. I visited him a couple of months ago in Andrews and he was the same Joe I always knew. Positive and always happy to see a friend. I know how much he loved his family and would do anything for them.
