Obituary of Hennie vanOmme

Peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, Montague on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 the death occurred of Hendrika "Hennie" vanOmme (Van Duinkerken) of Stratford, formerly of Mt. Mellick, age 88 years.  

Loving mother of John (Linda), Herman (Cheryl), Blair (Melody), Janette Mills (Sandy) and Betty Judson.  Cherished grandmother of Jana (Will), Shawna (James), Carley (Jonathan), Adam, Amanda (Christopher), Nicole (Tom), Samantha, Robert (Hannah), and Jennifer. Great-grandmother of 7 great-grandchildren. Hennie will be missed by her siblings Mina Kuiper, Lemmie, Arisje Hambly, John (Sandy), Herman, Jannie Broekhuis and Henk (Cobie). Predeceased by her husband Lambert vanOmme; her brothers-in-law Everet Kuiper, Earl Hambly and Teunis Broekhuis and sisters-in-law Wyoma and Rena Van Duinkerken.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, Vernon Bridge on Friday at 10:30 am.

The funeral service will be live streamed from the "St. Andrew’s United Church, Vernon Bridge" Facebook page.

Interment will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
