Jocelyn was one of the most kind and genuine people on this earth:) She was always ready to dance and have a good time wherever she went. I had the pleasure of getting to spend time with her last summer and even though I didn’t know it would be the last time I would see her, we had fun like it was:) I will miss you dearly. Thank you for being such an amazing soul, your joy and memory will live on forever.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jocelyn through my work with the genealogy society and she was an absolute joy to be around. Each meeting you could find her chatting with people and telling stories and she of course would be one of the last to leave helping with whatever we had to do…I’ll miss her stories and our laughs together. My deepest condolences to Dave and all of her family.

Dave, Alicia & Brittany, so sorry to hear about Jocelyn. I worked with Joc at Marwood in NS for many years, she was the office character, always a smile and a big laugh and huge love for her family (and her beloved PEI). I'll never forget the rum cakes she'd bring in for all our birthdays, she was always the one to start the singing! I always thought her gift of having the most amazing time with her family and her incredibly fun trips with her sisters was what life should be all about. She was an incredible lady, she will be so missed. My sincerest condolences, Tanya Loughead

Hi Dave and family,
When I last saw you 19 months back, I was unaware of any illness Jocelyn may have developed, but the cause of her passing may be subsequent to that. I offer all of you heartfelt sympathy.
May God's ever present comfort be felt by the family.
Thanks again for your passionately sung notes at our mother's funeral in 2022.
Yours sincerely,

i shared a photo on Facebook of beaded earrings i purchased and Jocelyn admired them. She asked if i knew of any beaders to buy a pair. i ordered from my family member. unfortunately it was not ready before we flew back East. i had earrings mailed to brother in law Darrin & he delivered to Jocelyn. She took photo and messaged me. She was so happy and wanted to learn more of my culture & indigenous people where i come from.
I am so very Thankful we made it back to PEI last August. Even though it was short, The fun we had & memories made. Jocelyn reminds me of Auntie Fran. Such a welcoming beautiful & caring soul.
Rest in Sweet Peace Jocelyn

My deepest sympathies and love to all of Jocelyn's family. She was an extra special friend, and through the years it was evident how much her family meant to her. I loved to hear her family stories, and especially those of her grandchildren, and always there were pictures. Jocelyn, you will be missed but never forgotten, as you have left a hole in so many lives, including mine.

Dear Altass and Power families. We were so deeply saddened to hear of Jocelyn’s passing. She was a kind, giving soul who will be missed by many. We are so grateful to have reconnected with the Prosper clan in recent years. Jocelyn was always the catalyst to make that happen. We share many happy memories from childhood to adulthood. For that I am thankful. All our love Michael, Cheryl (Peardon), Leann and Erik Grosvold

To Jocelyn's family, we cannot find words to express how sad we are to hear of Jocelyn's passing. This world is a little darker since she left it, however I do think that heaven is now a little brighter. She was such a beautiful soul with a kind and gentle heart and loved to laugh and enjoy life. When it came to talking about her Grandchildren, she lit up. Her role as a wife, mother, sister, friend were all very important to Jocelyn but none more than that of Grandmother.
Her passing will leave such a big void in many lives, especially you, Dave. May God give you all strength and peace in the coming months and know that Jocelyn's suffering is no more....... may she RIP.

I worked with Jocelyn at Beach Grove, what an amazing, loving care provider. She loved the residents. One day it was so warm in building. Jocelyn was wearing headband and a cooling apparatus around her neck. I laughed and called her Olivia Newton John.. She loved it and did a little dance. That was her, full of life. RIP, Olivia Newton John, you'll be missed

Jocelyn cherished her Uncle Kenny and he cherished her. They shared the same birthday and had the longest phone conversation on their special day! We will miss our visits and all the stories and laughter we shared. Uncle Lawrence is grateful for the afternoon he and Marlene and Kenny and I visited with Jocelyn and Dave. Many many memories too numerous to share. Kenny would always say, “Let’s stop and visit Jocelyn” when we were in Charlottetown for appointments.
Love Uncle Kenny and Annette; Uncle Lawrence and Marlene

My Condolences to All of Jocelyn’s Family & Friends. I met Jocelyn at Kevin C’s Birthday Party and she went over and above to make me feel welcome and part of the crowd. As we were talking, I realized she was Fran’s daughter. Fran was a client of mine who I was very fond of and I’m sure she was waiting at the Pearly Gates with her arms spread wide open for her daughter.
Rest in Peace
