Obituary of Stan Chaisson

Peacefully at home and surrounded by his family on Monday, April 22, 2024, the death occurred of Stanislaus “Stan” Robert Chaisson of Emyvale, approximately 2 weeks shy of his 88th birthday. 

Beloved husband of Rosaleen (Callaghan).  Loving father of Bob (Candece), Steve, Cathy (Marc Duguay) and Terry (Marilou). Cherished grandfather of Caitlin, Courtney, Emma, Jared, Laurel, Alana, Jessica,   Jean-Luc, Patrick, Christina and Zachary.  Great-grandfather of Bria, Koen, Avyn and Rémi.  Fondly remembered by numerous cousins and friends.  Predeceased by his mother, Mary Ann (Minnie) Chaisson, when he was a child. 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a visitation will be held Friday, April 26 from 4 – 6 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Church, Emyvale on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 10:00 am followed by interment in the parish cemetery and reception at the Emyvale Rec-Centre.
