I am deeply saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. She was an absolute gem of a woman. She would do anything for anyone and always made that person feel very welcomed and loved. Cherished our visits when I would drop in to see her when on PEI. She will be missed so much. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Fred and Mary children I have know mary for a great number of years. We meet at the mayflower club. I saw her and thought what a feisty lady and I want to get to know her more. We became really good friends, talking on the phone for hours. We went to classes at the center and through her I became a stronger person. She would say just wait it will get better. I as found out she new the French’s from down Montague way as I did. What a small island and there would be a great laugh. I will miss my friend Mary. Sending my condolences to Fred and family . I worked with Mary in the early 80s at Ken’s Konner. never a dull moment. Mary had that great smile all the time. I also made a trip to Varadera about 10 years ago and turned around and there was Mary and her friend. I would talk to her at the Cotton Park. She will be missed. RIP Mary

I am so sorry to learn of Marys passing. She was my 1st teacher in our 1 room school in New Haven. I rapped on her door, and asked her, Please Teacher , may I come to school, and she told me if you would like to come to school, come right in and take a seat. She was the best of the best. I send sincere sympathy to her family, she will be missed, and never forgotten by me. I loved her.
