I just read about Mary. I was unaware that she had passed away. The best neighbor (early-mid 90’s) that a girl ever had. She made my family feel welcome. Had many cups of tea together & boy could we (& Gordon).She helped me clean up a flood that we had & took us in when times were rough. I loved Mary & never did get back to visit (once way back) B’Lated condolences from Kelly Brindle,was Kelly & Andy McDonald & girls Jessica, Chantal & Amy (27 Wren Drive) .we divorced years ago but we have 5 grandchildren now 2,5,almost 7,9 & 15. Will never forget you Mary.

Gordon, please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of Mary. Spending time with my mother (Thelma Inman) at Whisperwood Villa, I would always see the two of you at musical entertainment. Your love and respect for each other was evident. Mary was also a regular at Bingo on Saturdays, where often her excited and darling grandchildren would join her and help win a prize. May you hear many wonderful stories of her life in the upcoming days that bring a smile and can add to your treasured memories.

Jo-anne and family: what a lovely photo of your mom. That is how I see her in my mind. When I first got involved with Assumption CWL, she was the one that showed me around the kitchen/hall area for receptions. She taught me how to make a great 'tea', put the sandwiches & sweets on plates/platters, keep a 'tidy' kitchen and the clean up. Also how to set up the hall (for that occasion). She was very organized and I appreciated that....as I am also ! When they moved to Mutch Dr., I used to visit and make a blueberry/lemon loaf for Gordon (she said it was his favorite) and Mary was always interested in everything and knew just what was going on too ! lol I moved to NB last September and have not been to Assumption since. I am sorry to miss Mary's funeral mass & 'honor guard' (as I would be proud to be part of) as I have a medical appointment in Moncton on Monday. I will be thinking of you all and keep you in my prayers. Janice Hebert, Bouctouche, NB

To Mary's Family: I knew Mary when I worked at Assumption Parish. I Loved Mary and Gordon. Mary had a strong faith in our Loving God whom she prayed and worshipped daily. Mary was dedicated to her Family and her Parish Community. Mary will be missed! Mary is now resting in God's arms. I will Pray for Peace on her life in Eternity.
