Obituary of Robert Howe Wood

Peacefully and with his family by his side at the Prince Edward Home, Robert Howe Wood went to his heavenly home after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of 55 years to Joyce (Moore). Dear father of Darren (Chantelle), Sally Maston (Reade) and Heidi Wood. Grandfather of Brandon (Shaylene), Trevor (Taylor), Gavin, Elijah, Mitchell and step grandfather of Matt, Candace and Zach. Brother of Diane Nichols (Gary) and Maida Wood. Brother-in-law of Jerry Moore (Elsie) and Mary Moore. Uncle of Natasha Armstrong (Ron), Andrew Moore (Lori), Marsha Moore (Ayman), Joel Moore, Gerald Moore (Erin) and also survived by grand nieces, grand nephews and aunts and uncles. Predeceased by Sterling and Beryl (Howe) Wood, parents-in-law Wilson and Fannie (Hancock) Moore and brother-in-law Don Moore. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. No public visitation or funeral service by personal request. Interment in Mount Herbert Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online to the Prince Edward Home.
