Rose will be missed by her very special neighbours, and dear friends, Gord and Mary Joudrey & family. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Helen (née Campbell) Pigott, sister Ruth (Alan) Doyle and Stan’s son Garth Sanderson.
Both Rose & Stan were born and raised on Prince Edward Island. They moved to Ontario at an early age for a new beginning. They made Chippawa their home for 58 years. Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude for the love and care mom received at the St. Catherine's General Hospital. To all the nurses, doctors and staff of the emergency department and unit 2A. To the Welland Funeral Home staff for their truly professional and personal care for our dear Mother.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Diabetes Canada or Walker Family Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
To honour mom's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Mount Stewart Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Mount Stewart Community Center on Saturday June 22, 2024 from 12-3 pm. All are welcome to attend.
