Obituary of Janet Marie Jardine

Peacefully with her family by her side Janet Marie Jardine (nee Smith) of Stanhope passed away at the PEI Atlantic Baptist Home, Charlottetown on Sunday January 28, 2024 at the age of 76 years.  Loving mother of Jeff Jardine (Lynn), Danny MacDougall (Sarah), Tamara Whitlock (Colin), Jason Jardine (Krista) and Shelley Kanke (Richard). Cherished grandmother of Jessica, Courtney, Ashton, Tayler, Chloe, Morgan, Alex, Taylor, Andrew and Eleanor. Great-grandmother of Madison, Hunter, Wyatt and Bryce. Sister of Ivan Smith (Nora), Phyllis Callaghan (Peter), Donnie Smith, Carol Thibault, Brenda Myers (Francis), Arlene Smith (Don) and Jamie Smith (Anne). Sister-in-law of Louise Smith. Predeceased by her parents Ivan and Mildred Smith (nee Hughes); by her husband William “Bill” Jardine; her sister Rita Smith; brother David Smith and by her brother-in-law Charlie Thibault.

Resting at the Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 10 am. No visiting hours by request.
