My condolences to Leona and Sam's family. I first met Sam in 2017 and my first impression was that he was a quiet, gentle man. We shared stories of our past and our hopes for the future. I have talked with Sam over the years since we first met and my first impression of him has not changed. I had the wonderful pleasure of listening to him play his guitar on various occasions which always left me in a peaceful mood. I look forward to a time of peace when I will once again hear Sam play his guitar. God bless you all.

To all of the family of Sam Laird, our friend and brother, and Leona our sister in Christ, Sherryl and I mourn with you at Sams' passing and pray for peace. But all of our hope for Sam and for each other is found in truth in scripture: 1 Cor 15:20-23
Blessed be the name of our God.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Sam's family, Leona and her family at this very difficult time. In the short time I knew Sam, he felt like family and was a good listener. He will be dearly missed. We look forward to the hope of the resurrection when we will see him again without anymore pain or suffering.

Deepest condolences to Sam's family and friends. I first met Sam back in the late 60s when he and his family moved to PEI. My friends, back in the day, and I would visit Sam and his family at their home in Lower Montague. As a free spirited sixteen-year-old, I thought his family were pretty cool/ hip and fun to be around. I remember he was a quiet, respectful student in high school, and he played drums in a local band. Pretty neat fellow. I am so sorry to learn about his passing. Stella Shepard
