Obituary of Imelda Callaghan

Teresa Imelda Gertrude Callaghan of Whisperwood Villa formerly of Dromore passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with family by her side on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the age of 83 years. Loving mother of  Anne Coffin and Bruce MacPherson (Darlene). Grandmother of John Jr. MacPherson (Nancy), Derek MacPherson (Samantha), Kyle MacPherson (Judi), Rachel Llewelyn (Adam). Great grandmother of Chloe, Blake, Dawson, Emmett, Everett, Spencer, Abigail, Thomas, Lillian, Sadie, Morgan, Denver and Tyler. Sister of Jonathan Cavanaugh (Alyce). Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her mother Grace McInnis, her son John, her son-in-law Ike Coffin and sister Hope Praught. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held from St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus on Saturday at 10:30 am. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online to the St. Patrick’s CWL or to the St. Patrick’s Cemetery Fund.
