Obituary of Bernie Vandergaag

Peacefully at the Beach Grove Home on Monday, December 25, 2023 Bernhard “Bernie” L. Vandergaag of Charlottetown passed away at the age of 78 years.

Beloved husband of Kathy Kemp. Dear father of Stefan (Karol) and Monica (George). Grandfather of Isabella, Willem, Kyra and Cameron. Great grandfather of Alex and Avery. Brother of Irene Kardol, John (Joyce) and Paul (Mary). Also remembered by Kathy’s children Jeff MacKinnon (Jenny) and Heidi MacKinnon (Norman) and their children. Predeceased by his sisters Marina and Hendrika.

A funeral service will be held at the St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, Charlottetown on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm.  Interment to follow in Sherwood Cemetery.
