Obituary of Joe MacIsaac

After a long and hard fought battle with ALS, peacefully and surrounded by his family at Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown on Thursday, November 30, 2023 the death occurred of Joseph “Joe” Ronald MacIsaac of York, age 50 years.  

Beloved husband of Vanessa (Durnford). Loving father of Phoebe and step-father of Kendra Bowers (Brandon), Jacob, Andrew and Nathan. Brother of John and Mark (Mary) and step-brother of Gina (Donnie, deceased), Stacey (Shane), Stacey Lynn (Wade), Tanya (Howard), Nicole (Shane), Dean, Lorelei, Bruce and Sonya. Joe will be missed by his step mother Darlene Pauley, nephew Nathan and also fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his father Joseph “Smokey Joe” Alexander MacIsaac, mother Bernadine “Bernie” Marjorie MacIsaac (MacPhee) (Everett Raynor).

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 10:30am.  Visiting hours will be Monday from 3-6pm. 

Interment will take place at Covehead Road Cemetery.
