Obituary of William Arthur Hughes

Passed peacefully at the Palliative Care Centre, Wednesday, August 26, 2015 of Billy Hughes of Stratford, P.E.I., age 80 years. Beloved husband of Shirley Hughes (nee Smallwood), loving father of Terry (Peggy), Chris and Paul Hughes. Billy will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren - Terrilee, Lindsey, Courtney and Cassidy; great grandchildren - Bianca, Kayleigh and Kolter, and brother, Ron Hughes (Donalda). He was predeceased by his parents William and Viola Hughes (nee Gallant). Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Friday, August 28, 2015 from 5 - 8 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Assumption Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donation to Canadian Cancer Society or Palliative Care would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
