To Kathy's family and friends, We are very sorry for your loss. We met and spent time with Kathy at her home when we came to see Mazie along with Elderdog staff Ruth. Kathy had made the very hard decision to find a new home for Mazie and we hoped to be a good fit. It was more than obvious how much Mazie was loved and well cared for by Kathy. In the end Mazie came home with us and has enriched our lives as she did for Kathy. Kathy kept in touch with us for as long as she was able, generously sharing photos and stories about her beloved dog. In return we kept her up to date on Mazie's progress and health. Kathy was always supportive of the decisions we made re Mazie's care and we miss sending and receiving those messages that were often full of fun stories of this special dog. Our future donations to Elderdog will be in memory of the love Kathy and Mazie shared. With our sympathies, Gary and Ellen Coughtry

To Kathy’s family, I am so sorry about your loss and my condolences to all of you. I worked with Kathy on a few projects over the past few decades and really enjoyed getting to know her and in more recent years, Maisie. Kathy was a great person to work with, during both successes and struggles, and someone you could truly trust. I will miss her. May Kathy rest easy in grace and love. Robert Bruce

I met Kathy when I was a volunteer with Elder Dog. I used to take Kathy's sweet Golden Maisie to her vet appointments. Kathy was such a delightful person we became friends and I began taking her to her appointments. I was very saddened to find out why Kathy had not been in contact recently. Rest in peace Kathy Dear Friend
