Obituary of Joe Collins

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joseph “Joe” Lloyd Collins with family by his side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of 44 years to Gail (Gould) Collins. Loving and devoted father of Tara Collins (Joey Bernard), Charlottetown and James Collins and Sandra Ellis of Ontario. Grandfather of Chad Ellis and Breann Ellis-Kober. Joe is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and their families. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Irene Collins and by his brother Robert Collins (Juanita). Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. No visiting hours by personal request. A private celebration of life service will be held from the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the PEI Lung Association or the Kidney Foundation.
