TO Marilyn, Reg, and Marlene Please accept my condolences on your Mothers passing. I remember her well, she was also so kind and calm. I remember her driving you and I into Charlottetown on days we were off school, and we would spend the day wandering around, drop in and visit her at teh office, and then wait for her to finish work. Sincere condolences to Reg, Marilyn and Marlene on the death of your mother, Verna. She was a very kind lady. Many years ago, your mom invited my mother, Blanche MacDonald and us three kids to go to your house to see tv since your family was one of the first ones in the community to have a tv. I remember walking over to your place so excited to see a tv. The show was Don Messers Jubilee. I'll always remember the kindness of your mother inviting us to see our very first tv show.

The Hyde Family, I became acquainted with Mr and Mrs Hyde when they stayed at my Bed and Breakfast, The Salmond House in Cornwall. It was a pleasure to have them as Guests. The last time I talked to her was when she called me to acknowledge the note I sent her when Mr Hyde passed away. With sympathy in your bereavement. Sincerely, Marilyn Mac Phail.
