On behalf of the family of Keith and Jean Pickard, Strathgartney Homestead, we send our deepest love and sympathy to you. We know Jessie/Tuddy from many summers in the 1960s when she was a tour guide and greeted Islanders and visitors to the historic home property. My sincere sympathy to you, Sean, as well as your wife Janet and family on the loss of your mother, Tuddy. I hope you were able to spend some time with her in her final days, as I realize the start up of Power School at work has been very demanding for you. The bond with mothers is very special. I particularly loved the line of remembering her in the sunshine or on walks. With Covid restrictions in not being able to attend wakes or funerals, it's very difficult to support someone in a loss.
