On a camping trip with my parents to PEI I had the pleasure of meeting 9-year-old Michelle and Krista. We instantly became the best of friends, like sisters from another Mother.. and 45 years later, nothing had changed until now.
I have so many great memories of Michelle, horseback riding, Tradewinds, many long letters written back and forth, breakfasts at Sam's, and Michelle and Krista even sang at my wedding. We would spend days at the beach from morning until suppertime… this summer Michelle still loved being in the sun, reading her book outside, while working on her “freckle crop”, She had a great sense of humor. Our lives have been intertwined since the day we met and to say I will miss Michelle is an understatement.
My heart goes out to you Krista, and I am here for you. *hugs*
