Obituary of Sarafina Turkes

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, July 9, 2021, the death occurred of Sarafina Turkes, age 80 years. 

Loving mother of Marina Bogdanovic (Nickica), Boro Turkes (Jasna) and Ivo Turkes (Vera).  Cherished grandmother of Suzie Frizzell (Corey), Nikolina Bogdanovich (Julian), Zaklina Bogdanovich (Alex), Yosip Bogdanovich (Casandra), Leo Turkes, Tony Turkes and Martina Turkes.  Great-grandmother of Cohen and Carmela Frizzell. Sarafina will be missed deeply by her children and grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Joso Turkes.

Thanks to the staff at the QEH on Unit 3 for taking such good care of her. 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions, a private funeral service will be held. Interment will take place at the Sherwood Cemetery, Charlottetown. Memorial donations may be made online to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
