Obituary of Janna H. Plaggenhoef

It is with great sadness that the family of Janna Plaggenhoef  (VanOmme) announce her death peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 of Mt. Mellick, age 96 years.  

Loving mother of Jannie Dykens, Ali Dykens (Lennie) , Hank (Gail), Hennie Power (Earl) and Marie Plaggenhoef. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Janna will be missed by her only surviving sibling Gerri Vessey. Predeceased by her parents John Hendrick and Jantje VanOmme, her husband Nick Plaggenhoef, siblings Lambert, Hank, Hennie VanEwyk (John) and sons-in-law Perry Dykens, Lindsay Dykens, Chris Soult.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford.  Due to current restrictions, a private visitation and funeral service will be held. 

Interment will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Memorial donations may be made online to St. Andrews United Church.
