Obituary of Gertrude Ford

It is with deep sadness that the family announces Gertrude "Shirley" Ford, passing on Friday August 14, 2020 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital aged 83 years. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, George "Gerald" Ford, Charlottetown; daughters, Cynthia Locke (Dale), Sharon Lougheed; son, Glenn Ford (Michelle). Grandma to Devin, Felicity, Raymond, Jacob, Molly, Emilee, Jeremy, Spencer, and Brandi. Sister of Rose Kilcup (Ron), and Dotty Betts (Charlie). Predeceased by an infant son Gerald Glenn Ford; her parents Alvina & Ralph Doucette; her sisters Eleanor Maillet, Muriel Broome, and her brother Merrill Doucette. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. There will be no visitation. A private family funeral will take place. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
