Obituary of Scott MacIntyre

Peacefully at his parents home in Stratford on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 the death occurred of Scott Franklyn Roger MacIntyre of Stratford, age 46 years.  

Beloved son of Frank and Mary (Banks) MacIntyre and brother of Erin Ostridge (Shane).  Uncle of Nate and Ainsley Ostridge. Devoted step-father of Laken McAssey and remembered by her mother Emily. Scott will be missed by his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents; James and Helen Banks, Charlie and Mary MacIntyre.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Sunday August 9, 2026 from 2-4 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held from Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Monday August 10, 2026 at 11 am. Due to family allergies, please refrain from wearing scents. Interment will take place in Our Lady of the Assumption Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made online to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation (Mental Health and Addictions or Equipment Fund).
