Obituary of Rita Boucher

Peacefully and with her family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Rita Boucher of Saint John NB passed away on Tuesday July 28, 2026 at 4:20 pm in her 83 year. Loving mother of Kim Lewis (Warren) and Tim Spears (Noreen). Nanny to Jessica, Emalee, Courtney, Crystal, Erica, Dylan, Tyler and Brycen. Great-grandmother of Max, Charlotte, Annika, Lillian, Emily, Audrey, Maggie, Betty, Judah and Logan. Sister of Dianne Neal (Robert). Rita was a graduate of UPEI. Predeceased by her husband Brian Downey and by her brother Donald Boucher (Barbara).

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford, PEI. A public graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 04, 2026 at 2:30pm at the Cedar Hill-Greenwood Cemetery, 1650 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB.  All are welcome.
