Obituary of Barry Norman Smith

Peacefully and surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, the death occurred of Barry Norman Smith of Burnside Community Care and formerly of Stratford, age 75 years. Barry is survived by his foster daughter Laurie Turner (Deryl Peters); their son Tyler Turner; and other numerous foster children. He will be missed by his siblings Russell (Betty), Cindy Judson, Valerie Mason, Karen Shea. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by his parents Russell and Agnes (Campbell) Smith, wife Kae Jenkins-Smith. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home.  No visitation or funeral service by request. A graveside service will be held at Hazelbrook Cemetery on Sunday at 1:30 pm. All are welcome.
