Obituary of Louis Elmer Corrigan

Peacefully and surrounded by family at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Monday, June 1, 2026, the death occurred of Louis Elmer Corrigan of Dromore, age 73 years.  

Loving father of Aaron Corrigan, Stacy Corrigan, and Melissa Corrigan (Rob).  Cherished grandfather of Austin, Jenna, Rowan, Finleigh, and Corina. Louis will be missed by his brother Edwin Corrigan (Susan); sisters-in-law Rita Corrigan and Mary Lee Corrigan and by his brother-in-law John McCaughey. Louis will be remembered with love by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Nellie Corrigan, wife Wendy Corrigan (Kelly), siblings Joe Corrigan, Reginald “Buddy” Corrigan (Linda), Helen McCaughey and Allan Corrigan.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 4-7pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held from St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 10:30 am.  Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
