Obituary of Louis Elmer Peters

Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the PEI Atlantic Baptist Home on Thursday, May 28, 2026, the death occurred of Louis Elmer Peters of Charlottetown, age 84 years.  

Beloved husband of Louise Peters (Cudmore). Loving father of Michael (Rosie) and Paul (Bertha) and step-son Corey Cudmore. Cherished grandfather of Danielle Bell (Blake), Dylan (Hannah), Brent (Jaqueline), Brodie (Kristen Marie) and Amber.  Great-grandfather of Hayden, Stevie, Olivia, Brooklyn, Chase, Giannina and Benjamin (deceased) . Louis will be missed by his siblings Frankie (Julie) and Betty Munn (Barry). Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Gertie (Gallant) Peters, his first wife Norma Peters (Doiron), siblings Vernon and Carol Peters (Roy Docherty).

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 2 pm. No visitation by request. Interment will take place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.

Memorial donations may be made online to the Cancer Society. The Peters family would like to thank all of the staff of the PEI Atlantic Baptist Home for the care and support shown to Louis.
