Obituary of Wally MacDonald

Peacefully and with his daughter Susan by his side at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, April 26, 2026 the death occurred of Wallace “Wally” Spurgeon MacDonald of Stratford, age 86 years. 

Loving father of his daughter Susan MacDonald and step-sons Robert MacLeod and Jon MacLeod (Karin). Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Michael, Millar, and Morgan. Great-grandfather of Colette and her girls; and Ethen and Jordan. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Marguerete “Margo” Anne (Burns) (MacLeod) MacDonald and by his siblings Margaret, Shirley, Milton, Robert, Joyce, Barbara Ann, and Georgina.

Wally was one of those good guys, a gentle soul who always wanted to help others. 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford.  No funeral service or visiting hours by personal request.
