Sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Steve. He was very thoughtful and would always stop in Dieppe to see George and Ida. I remember when Steve and Sadie and other family members came onboard the HMCS Charlottetown when alongside in Charlottetown in 1995. So many great memories we have of Sadie and Steve. Condolences to all

My sincere condolences to the Labchuck family on the loss of your dad, to Sadie on the loss of her husband and to Darlene, Wade, Ellen and Kurtis on the loss of your step dad/ grand dad.
We grew to know Steve through his 30+ years of marriage to Aunt Sadie. We had many happy family times and meals at our house and many other places. We will always remember Steve for his gentle, kind spirit, smiling eyes and quick wit.
Rest in peace Steve. You will always be remembered.

So sorry to hear the passing of Steve. He was a great guy. We have cherished memories of his and Aunt Sadie’s trips to Hamilton over the years. The most special one is when they came to Disneyland with mom, dad, myself and my brother and his family. Aunt Ida came too. We had a blast. Condolences to all from all of us in Hamilton ❤️

Steve was a kind and decent person--a true gentleman who made everyone around him feel welcome and valued. He was deeply respected by the members of Aunt Sadie's extended family. What I will remember the most is the love and life he shared with my aunt over the past 33 years. It was a steady, loving partnership that brought them both true happiness.
My sincere condolences to Steve's family. Rest in peace Uncle Steve.

He shared many years with my mother (Sadie) and for that reason he will always remain an important part of my life and memories. He was cherished by every member of our family.

To all Sharon and Steve's family and friends. That was a lovely tribute to your dad. I had the pleasure of working him at DVA and he was a very honourable man and so pleasant to one and all. We are losing that special generation of veterans who worked so hard and many sacrificed their lives. Steve had a great sense of humour and was well liked and respected by all. Sending condolences to all his family, friends and his former co-workers. God Bless Steve and RIP. Edna Cudmore

To Steve's family and comrades,
I did not have the pleasure of meeting Steve, but wished to send condolences from a retired military chaplain. The writeup speaks laudably to his life and much more. May the vast supply of memories and Steve's notable accomplishments give you comfort and appreciation for his life.
RIP and may light perpetual shine brightly.
