Obituary of Florence Mary McNally

Peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family at Andrew’s of Stratford on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 the death occurred of Florence Mary McNally (Koughan) of Donagh, age 94 years. Loving mother of Dianne Oraniuk, Louise Smith (Roger), Sheila Coffin (Kevin), Leonard (Bonnie), Michelle Mitchell (Chris) and Robert McNally.  Cherished grandmother of Christa, Sheila, Sherri, Darren, Randy, Paula, Becky Lynn, Kara, Matthew, Jordan, Kayla, Kelcy, Mitchell, Alicia, Malia, Landon and Payton. Also survived by 20 great-grandchildren. Florence will be missed by her sister Rita McGuirk. Predeceased by her parents Mathias and Catherine (MacDonald) Koughan; husband Leo P. McNally; son Leo Jr.; sons-in-law John Oraniuk and David Smith; daughter-in-law Sandra McNally; grandchildren Richard and Courtney; siblings Eileen Driscoll (Vernon), Norman Keoughan (Mary), Bill Koughan (Bernie), Victor Koughan, Lillian Koughan and James Koughan (Eleanor) and by her brother-in-law Ralph McGuirk.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 1-3 pm followed by a funeral service at 3:30 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place later at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fort Augustus.

Florence’s family would like to thank all of the staff of Andrews of Stratford for their care and attention shown to Mom.
