I want to express my sympathy. May God comfort and strengthen each of you during ...and beyond... this sad and difficult time ...and may He grant you His peace.
I have wonderful memories of Florence; but, one in particular clearly stands out from the rest. I had been invited to an evening of prayer at a private home in the Johnston's River area. When I arrived, I was ushered into the living room ...and, glancing around, I realized I knew most of those gathered there (including Florence)...and was introduced to two or three people I didn't know. There was an easy transition from friendly chit-chat to more serious (spiritual) "business". Several people offered up appropriate prayers as the Spirit led. Then somewhere along the way, Florence, in her unique quiet and humble way was led to pray. Well, I had never 'til then ...and I'm not sure I've ever heard anyone since...pray The Word the way Florence McNally did that night. Up until then, I had known Florence for quite some time through church; but, following that evening I have held her in highest regard. She leaves a rich spiritual legacy ...and please be assured that she will be missed for many weeks, months, and years to come.
