Bill, Joyce.Patricia, Logan and Lauren,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Pam's passing. Pam had a great love for her family and friends. She had a deep love for all animals and was always ready to rescue any animal in need. I will remember her strength of character as she would take on any challenge that she felt worthy. I have a very fond memory of her jumping in puddles with my young grandson and trying to jump as high as him. She loved children... and most of all she adored Logan and Lauren unconditionally. My most heartfelt sympathies to all of Pam's family.

Joyce, Bill, and Patricia,
My deep sympathy to you all.
I will always remember Pam's intelligent wit and sense of humor. She knew how to laugh and showed others how to take life a little less seriously. She was thoughtful and kind and made people feel known. I know she will be deeply missed.
Sincerely, Jillian MacMillan Smith

I had the pleasure of getting to know Pam post HS / early Uni through my friend Paul as we “hung out together” as a friend group. I remember Pam’s smile and laughter. I am so sorry for Pam’s passing and prayers of comfort for the Oulton family at this time.

Pam started (jokingly) insulting me from our first meeting at UPEI -- and she was soon calling me "the Advertiser" because (she pointed out) all my shirts had logos on them or were advertising something. Ours grew into a warm friendship and we were part of a core group of university friends. Pam drove everywhere and often -- and taught me to drive standard in her green Buick Skylark. We used to drive up the entrance ramp at the Prince Edward Hotel and stop there -- to see if I could get moving again without stalling! When I (foolishly?) drove my new motorcycle home from Ontario, and barely managed to catch the 1am boat, the headlights behind me in Borden turned out to be Pam -- she had driven out to shadow me back and make sure I made the last miles safely! I feel shocked and sad to learn of her passing.

Sorry to learn of Pam's passing. We had a great friendship that developed through art classes at Confederation Centre. Pam was always full of life, animated, and creative. Pam had great admiration for people in their senior years and cherished particularly her grandmother whom she often spoke fondly about. Perhaps that respect fueled her strong desire for fairness and equity and her pride in being a patriotic Canadian. Wishing the Oulton family peace at this time.

It is with great sadness that I send you this message of condolences. Pam was a wonderful person, who I had the honour of teaching Art at Conferderation Centre. Her sense of humour, wit, and kindness always filled the room. I enjoyed her lively conversations, laughter, and creativity. Will always remember that smile and the twinkle in the eyes. I have seen her throughout the years and she always had lots to share and enjoyed talking with her and catching up with things. She always was still full of smiles, life and joy.
Sending my prayers and love to you her family ... She was a very special person, who I will always remember.
