Obituary of James Peter Doyle

Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday January 24, 2026 of James Peter “Jimmy D.” Doyle of Charlottetown age 89 years. Beloved husband of Paula (Gauthier). Loving father of Donna Cota, Kerry Gautreau, Troy Lund, Stacey Lund (Benny MacWilliams). Grandfather of Chad, Jessie, Katie, Braydon, Jordi, and Dustin. Brother of Marge Aukema. Jimmy D. is fondly remembered by his very dear friend Frank Walker and also remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Debbie; grandson Shane, and siblings Frank, Phalen and Virginia. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. No visiting hours or funeral service by personal request. A celebration of life will be held at the Jack Blanchard Hall, Charlottetown on February 21 from 2 to 4pm. Memorial donations may be made online to the Cancer Society.
