Obituary of Gladys Isabel Hunter

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 the death occurred of Gladys Isabel Hunter (nee Farquharson) of Charlottetown, formerly of Mount Herbert, age 76 years.  

Loving and cherished mother of Norma Jean Hunter. Cherished grandmother of Marissa, and Emily. Gladys will be missed by her siblings Lowell Farquharson (Audrey) and Jeannie MacAulay (Kevin). Beloved aunt of Sherri Pineau, Stephen Farquharson, Erin Tucker and Michael MacAulay. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Isabel (MacKinnon) Farquharson.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5-7pm. Interment will take place later at the Mount Herbert Memorial Cemetery.
