Obituary of Kendra Leanne MacDonald

Peacefully, and surrounded by her family, Kendra Leanne MacDonald, age 42 years, passed into heaven on January 14, 2026, at Campbellton Regional Hospital.  

Kendra is survived by her daughters, Hayley and Madyson Pettigrew, and by her partner, Jean-Claude Leblanc, all of Dalhousie, New Brunswick.

Kendra was born on November 13, 1983, the second daughter of George and Karen MacDonald of Corran Ban.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Melissa (Fred MacPhail), Ashley (Cory) Gillespie, and Becky (Justin MacDonald), along with their families.

She will also be deeply missed by her grandparents, Glen and Margaret Wigginton, Charlottetown, and was welcomed into heaven by her paternal grandparents, Jack and Joan MacDonald, formerly of Corran Ban.

Kendra will be remembered by her many aunts, uncles, and cousins in the MacDonald and Wigginton families.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026 4-6 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held Friday at 10am in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will take place later at the Corran Ban Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made online Kendra’s name to the Lupus Foundation of Canada or the Cancer Society.
