Barry, I am so shocked and so sorry to hear of Trisha’s passing. My family and I would like to send our condolences to you and the family. Trisha, I will always cherish the memories of learning from you, my teacher and friend. Not only of teaching, but also the time you taught me how to cook strawberry-rhubarb jam and put it on ice cream, shared funny stories, and simply shared your kindness, warmth and spirits. You will always remain in my heart, but have a formidable (my favourite French word, which I learned from you) time in heaven!

Dear Barry, Michelle, Dan, Alex, Emma, and Louise.
I am deeply saddened to learn of Tricia’s passing. My deepest condolences. I understand the enormity of losing a spouse, a mother, a mother-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and a grandmother. May God hold you all in the palm of His Hands as you navigate life without your dearest Trish. To me, Trish was a rare jewel!
I have many fond memories of chats when we would meet randomly on the street, in a restaurant, or just reading the Facebook posts of places you would travel. Somehow, these would always sound like exciting and romantic adventures.

Dear Barry, Michelle, Alex and Emma, we are so deeply sorry to learn of the death of our beloved “Tricia”, your wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Tricia and I were probably playing together in the streets of our hometown North Sydney from the age of 3 or 4. And after going through school together, also were classmates at Saint F.X. in the exciting 1960’s era. Although often separated by time and distance as we each raised our families, we never ever lost that special connection we felt from our very earliest days playing together as children in our old Archibald Avenue neighbourhood.
To say she was a unique and special person is a huge understatement. Patricia (as we called her at home) had a rare quality of joy, curiosity and generosity that can only be called charisma. In my life, as I’m sure in many others, she was a constant source of bright light, infectious optimism, and mischievous wonder, despite her serious health challenges.
To her dear sisters Geraldine, Jeannie and Lorna, to all her family and friends, we express our deep sorrow at her loss.
We have had the opportunity to have her remembered at Mass by a caring community of Benedictine Sisters whom we are visiting.
Regardless of distance or geography, Tricia will ALWAYS be with us.
Brian and Nancy Joseph
