I have many fond memories of my uncle Ernie. He always made my brother and I laugh with his funny stories and impressions. He made sure we had bikes to use and always set us up with fun things to do on my grandparents farm. I remember one year he picked me out one his many tires and we made a tire swing together. Unka Ernie you will always be remembered for your crazy stories, kindness, and the laughs you brought me. Love you and miss you <3

I knew Ernie in the mid 70''s when he dated a friend of mine. They were a happy couple. I also have known most of the rest of his family through horses, which the Ernie I knew did not have interest in. He came from a good family, hard working and kind. To Kristen, Lorraine, Tonya and Danny, I am so sorry for your loss and the circumstances around it. I have good memories of Ernie Jr from a long time ago, so that's what I will remember. Blessings to all of you at this sad time. Be kind to yourselves.

He was a great neighbor and one of the funniest guys I've ever met, he gave me one of his guitars the day before the fire and it's one of the few things that made it in my apartment. I'm grateful I met him and I'm grateful for every conversation we had. My condolences go out to his family, he was one of a kind, one I'll never forget.
