Obituary of Donna Margaret Power

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Donna Margaret Power, of Charlottetown, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, December 15, 2025. 

Donna will be remembered with love and missed by her siblings Arlene, Patrick, William (Kaye) Power and Glenn (Christine) Hynes. Sister-in-law of Nadine MacCallum-Power. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Ruth (Trainor) Power, brother Kevin, sister Geraldine MacDonald-Power and sister-in-law Danita Power.

Donna's volunteer work took her to Northern BC to teach Indigenous youth. She loved her music, especially her violin and her time with the PEI Fiddlers. She was always a brave and generous spirit despite facing serious health issues.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 2:00 pm.  No visitation by request.  Interment will take place later at Mt Ryan Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made online to Kidney Foundation or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.

The family would like to thank Dr. Keith Baglole and the nursing staff of both the ER dept and Unit 8 and also the staff of the Stamper Residence.
