Obituary of Verna Josephine Stevenson

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 the death occurred of Verna Josephine Stevenson (Henry) of Winsloe and formerly of Vernon Bridge, age 80 years.  

Loving mother of Mark (Hiadee) and Tammy Bennett (Scott).  Mother-in-law of April Stevenson. Cherished grandmother of Alexandra, Ryan, Luke, Brynlee, Hudson and Masyn. Verna will be missed by her siblings Claudia Zwicker (Bob), Georgina Ostridge and Blair Henry (Linda). Predeceased by her parents  Claude and Mary (Walker) Henry and her son Guy.  

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place later at St Joachims Cemetery, Vernon River. Memorial donations may be made online to Alzheimer's Society or Cancer Treatment Centre of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
