Obituary of Seymour Hurry

Peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, December 4, 2025 the death occurred of Seymour Hurry of Winsloe, age 85 years.  Beloved husband of 65 years to Janet Hurry (Gay). 

Loving father of Nancy Hogan (Mike). Cherished grandfather of Brodie Hogan (Becky), Courtney Hogan-Chandler (Scott) and Melanie Hogan. Great-grandfather of Finnegan and Rankin Chandler and Abbey and Aspen Hogan.  Brother of Cecil (Dale).  Fondly remembered by Wayne Smith and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Marion (Wood) Hurry, siblings Audrey Smith and John Allan and Barbara Jean (in infancy).

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 4-7 pm.  A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:30 am from Winsloe United Church.  Interment will take place at Highfield Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation and Winsloe United Church.
