Obituary of Eddie Trainor

Peacefully with family by his side at the Beach Grove Home on Friday September 26, 2025 Edward “Eddie” Trainor of Stratford and formerly of Watervale, passed away at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Donna (Gallant). Fondly remembered by his siblings Viola Morris, Ernie Trainor, Mary Froment (Claude), Teresa Trainor, Vernon Trainor (May), Allan Trainor (Theresa), Pius Trainor (Janet) and Bernadette Hunter (Dave). Brother-in-law of Wanda Trainor. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Irene (Grimes) Trainor and by his siblings Gus Trainor, Basil Trainor, Marie Roberts (Des) and by his brother-in-law Frank Morris and sister-in-law Kay Trainor. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where visiting hours will be held on Wednesday October 1, 2025 from 5-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday October 2, 2025 at 10:30 am from St Joachims Church, Vernon River. Interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made online to the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry, St Joachim’s Church or the Alzheimer's Society.
