Grant, Leza, and family my condolences to you at this time of loss, however, in some ways I'm sure you are comforted in knowing she is now at peace and home with your father once again. I'm truly sorry I wasn't able to make it to the wake or service to pass along my condolences in person. However, know that I thought of your parents often and I enjoyed my many nightly / early morning conversations with them at Burnside.

Grant , Leza and families, I was saddened to hear the passing of your mom. Getting to know her when we attended your home on Wednesday nights during my time in university to watch St. Elsewhere was a great pleasure. She was a very kind lady, easy to speak with and a fabulous cook. Her ribs were excellent! She also gave me the opportunity to play my first Santa Claus gig, one of many to follow, at the Zion Kindergarten, that I cherish to this day. To all your family members my deepest sympathies from my family to yours. May the memories and stories enable you to work through this sad time. Dear Matheson family, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I went to ion Kindegarten (early 80s) as well as attended the church, and as such both your parents were huge figures in my early life from the church Xmas concerts, big hugs from your mom at various times when little, and Dr. Matheson's teachings before joining the church. Your mom (and dad's) legacy will continue to ripple through all the people that had the privilege to have known them. My deepest condolences at this time to all her family.
