Obituary of Kaye Larkin

Peacefully with her family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kathleen “Kaye” Marie Larkin passed away at the age of 80 years.

Sister of Brenda Martin (Joey) and Kevin “Badger” Larkin (Sheila MacAulay). Fondly remembered by her nephew Calvin Larkin and niece Jackie Kennedy and also remembered by her grandnieces and grandnephews. God-mother and aunt of Colleen Williams. Predeceased by her parents John Larkin and Helen (Runighan) Larkin and siblings Billy, Bernadette, Gerard and Michael Larkin.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a visitation will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2025 from 4:30-7:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday August 20, 2025 from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Cornwall at 10:30 am. A private graveside service will be held later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.

Memorial donations may be made online to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation and the Alzheimer’s Society. 

Kaye’s family extends their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Unit 1 and Unit 3 of the QEH along with Dr. Paul Kelly and Dr. Kris Saunders for their dedicated care.  Special thanks to Colleen Williams, Mary Hagen and Elaine Black for all of their much appreciated visits.
