Obituary of Gerald Arthur DesRoches

Passed peacefully at Palliative Care Centre Friday, December 11, 2015 of Gerry DesRoches of Johnston’s River, age 77 years. Beloved husband of Ann Marie (nee Keefe), loving father of Mark (Donna) of Edmonton, AB and Blair (Ann-Louise) of Fort Augustus. Gerry will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren - Drake of Edmonton, AB and Caycie of Fort Augustus. Survived by his siblings - Edgar (Mary) of Toronto, ON, Doreen Arsenault (Armond) of Peabody, Mass., Anita Breau ( late Ron) of Dieppe, NB, Lloyd (late Laurie) of Riverview, NB, Aubrey (Isabel) of Cornwall, Joyce Brown (Gordon) of Riverview, NB, Eric (Bernadine) of York, Leona Keefe (Bernard) of Cherry Valley, Dennis of Edmonton, AB and stepmother Annie DesRoches of Tignish. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Eva (nee Chaission) and brother Cecil. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Monday, December 14, 2015 from 6-9 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish at 11 AM. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Ducks Unlimited or the Humane Society would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
