Obituary of Connie Martin

Peacefully and surrounded by family,  Constance “Connie” Elizabeth Martin (Grant) of Stratford, age 85 years, passed on away on Friday, June 13th 2025. Beloved wife of 65 years to Ken. Dear mother of Robert (Caryn) and Kimberley Riel (Michael). Grandmother of Jared, Hailey, Travis, Chelsey, Josh, Emmalee, Kaylee, Elizabeth, Patrick, Jacob, and Katie. Also fondly remembered by several great-grandchildren. Sister of Gordon Grant (Nancy). Mother-in-law of Jodi and Lisa Martin. Connie will be missed by her beloved dog, Sophie. Predeceased by her parents, Victor and Elizabeth (Sorrie) Grant; sons Kenneth and David and by her siblings Kenneth, Blair, Joseph, Michael and Jerry. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 19 from 4-6 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held from St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River on Friday, June 20 at 10:30 am. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online to the St. Joachim’s Church.
