Obituary of Robert Edward Smith

At his home in Bethel on Saturday May 31, 2025, Robert E. Smith passed away suddenly at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Louise Smith and son-in-law to Harry and Marjorie Redmond. 

Beloved husband of Terrie Smith (Redmond). Loving father of Marly Smith (Nathan) and Patrick. Cherished grandfather of Madison. Robert will be missed by his dog Koda and by his siblings Ronnie (Sheila), Cathy and Patricia (Berlin). Brother-in-law of Liz (Jamie), Wendy (Brian), Timmy (Carolyn) and Danny, deceased (Paula). Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.  

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. No visiting hours or funeral service by request.
