Would like to send my love and deepest condolences to Eva, Kim, Geraldine, Sherill and their families.
I was lucky enough to have Percy as my Uncle, I have many memories of him but a few stand out to me. When I was a child and came to visit, Percy and I would go to Diary Queen. He would let me order whatever I wanted, whatever I got he would get the same. Usually banana splits, I just thought having the whole thing to myself was the absolute best and I think he enjoyed it just as much as me!
When I was 21 I moved back to Pei. Eva and Percy were always so good to me, always sending baked goods home with me or stuff from the garden.
I know if my Mom was still here(Ruby Cairns) she would have a lot to say about how much she loved Percy and what a wonderful man he was. She always told me stories about living with Eva and Percy on the farm, always so thankful for the time she spent there.
Anyone that knew Percy loved him, he was so kind, funny and genuine. I will miss him very much.
