So very very sorry to hear of Barb's passing...I remember we bet all the men at the card play that the Summerville ball teams used to host....they were amazed! My sympathy and condolences to you all...we always miss our Moms. I am off Island at the moment and am very sorry I can't attend her wake and funeral....she was a sweet and funny lady. Barb was truly one of a kind, and visiting her and having tea and biscuits at her kitchen table, and listening to her stories was always the highlight of any trip to PEI. I have never been able to think of her without smiling or laughing out loud at some memory of her. I miss her already.

We will miss our visits to summerville to see "Nanny" There is no one else quite like Barb, she had a way of making you feel so good and welcomed. We had the best time spending christmas eve there and we are so glad we made it our this year. Thinking of all the family and friends. Love Nick, Lacey and baby John MacGillivray.
