Obituary of Steve Lutz

We regret to announce the peaceful passing of Robert Stephen "Steve" Lutz, age 67 years, formerly of Souris. The death occurred at home in Stratford, with the love of his life by his side, on Sunday, April 27 2025.

 

Dear partner of Trudy Gurnell and loving father of Ashley Kingate, Chantelle Lutz, Megan Lutz Graham (Travis), Kathleen Lutz, Clarke Lutz (Morgan MacSwain), Gary Gurnell, Sandra Gurnell, Sheree Gurnell (James Powers) and Taryn Emmett. Grandfather of Emma, Kasimar, Brooklyn, Jaxon, Caleb, Hansen, Steven, Taylor, Tessa, Landon, Thomas, Melody, Harmony, Julian, Ethan, Soren, Johnny, Annalisa, Madison, Kai and Mya. Brother of Kenny Lutz (Louann), Bonnie Lutz McInnis and Kim Lutz. Steve will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends across the Island.

 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home.  The family welcomes those who would like to join us in celebrating Steve's life for a funeral service at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 1:30 pm. No visiting hours will be held.
